Revenue Prediction Summary

Revenue prediction summaries show how much upcoming revenue is associated with accounts that FunnelStory expects to retain, churn, or keep neutral, so teams can quickly size renewal risk and expected revenue from the Accounts view.

Revenue summary cards

The Accounts view shows three revenue cards:

CardWhat it means
Worth Licenses ExpiringTotal contract value in the selected renewal period. This is not prediction-based.
Expected RevenueRevenue from accounts predicted Retention.
At Churn RiskRevenue from accounts predicted Churn.

Account list filters, such as audience, owner, renewal period, stage, and segment, apply to which accounts are included in these totals.

Rules

Only accounts with a Retention or Churn prediction count toward Expected Revenue or At Churn Risk. Neutral accounts, or accounts without a prediction yet, are excluded from those two cards even if they have revenue.

For each account, FunnelStory uses the best available revenue value: aggregate amount when present, otherwise the account's direct amount.

PredictionRevenueContribution
Retention$100KAdds $100K to Expected Revenue
Churn$40KAdds $40K to At Churn Risk
Neutral$25KExcluded from Expected Revenue and At Churn Risk
No prediction yet$10KExcluded from Expected Revenue and At Churn Risk

Account hierarchy

In workspaces without parent-child hierarchy, each account is evaluated on its own prediction and revenue.

In workspaces with parent-child hierarchy, if the parent has its own amount, FunnelStory uses it. If the parent amount is empty, FunnelStory rolls up child amounts and uses that rolled-up value for the parent.
