Account Predictions
Every account in FunnelStory has a health score and a predicted outcome, updated continuously as your data refreshes. You'll find them on each account's Renewal → Driving Factors sub-tab, alongside the factors that produced the score.
The Health Score Badge
The health score is displayed as a two-part badge:
- Left: the numeric score (0–100)
- Right: the confidence level (High, Medium, Low)
The badge is color-coded by predicted outcome: green for retention, pink for churn, gray for neutral. The shade reflects confidence — a high-confidence churn prediction is darker than a low-confidence one.
Predictions and the Accounts View
The accounts view doesn't show health scores or filter by predicted outcome. To narrow the list to accounts that need attention, use the Has Risks / Opportunities filter, which keeps accounts with at least one open negative (risk) or positive (opportunity) Needle Mover. The optional Risk Count and Opportunity Count columns sort the accounts with the most open risks or opportunities to the top. See Accounts View.
Account Detail
The account header shows four tiles — Relationship, Risks, Opportunities, and Actions (when the Actions tab is enabled). Each tile opens the tab behind it, so you can go straight to an account's open risks or pending actions.
The full prediction breakdown is on the Renewal → Driving Factors sub-tab:
- The health score badge and predicted outcome, with when the score was last updated
- Confidence level, with a data confidence warning if FunnelStory has limited data on this account (for example, few historical data points or a short tenure)
- The factors behind the score, grouped into Activities, Traits, Low Impact Factors, and Needle Movers, each showing whether it pushes toward retention or churn and how the account compares to the broader population
- A shortcut to What-If Analysis from the Activities section
When an account's score is rolled up — from its products, or from its child accounts in an account hierarchy — Driving Factors shows Score Contributions instead of Activities and Traits: each product or child account's score, weighted by the amount of business it represents, with a link to open it.
Data Confidence
Alongside prediction confidence, FunnelStory also surfaces a separate data confidence indicator. This reflects how much data is available for the account. A high-confidence prediction ("High") on low data might still be less reliable than a medium-confidence prediction on a well-established account with years of history.
When data confidence is medium or low, a warning is shown with a brief explanation — for example, "Insufficient data" or "Limited conversation history."
