Organizing Agents

Once a workspace has more than a handful of agents, use folders and tags on the Agents page (/agents) to keep the library browsable. Each agent lives in at most one folder, and can carry any number of tags. Folders and tags only organize the list — they don't change how or when an agent runs.

The folder rail

The rail on the left of the Agents page lists:

EntryShows
All agentsEvery agent. In card view, agents are grouped under a heading per folder, with Unfiled last.
Your foldersOnly the agents filed in that folder, split into Active and Draft sections when the status filter is All statuses.
UnfiledAgents that aren't in any folder.

Each entry shows how many agents it holds.

  • Create a folder — click + next to Folders, type a name, and press Enter. Folder names must be unique.
  • Rename a folder — hover the folder, open its ⋮ menu, choose Rename, and press Enter to save (Escape cancels).
  • Delete a folder — open its ⋮ menu and choose Delete, then confirm. The agents in it aren't deleted; they move to Unfiled.

Filing and tagging a single agent

Click an agent to open its detail drawer. The strip under the agent's name shows its folder and tags, and saves each change as soon as you make it:

  • Folder — click the folder button (it reads Unfiled when the agent has none) and pick a folder, or Unfiled to take it out of its folder.
  • Tags — click + Tag, type a tag name, and press Enter. Click the × on a tag to remove it.

Filtering by tag

Once any agent has a tag, a Tags section appears in the rail below the folders, listing each tag with the number of agents that carry it. Check one or more tags to narrow the list to agents that have any of the checked tags. The tag filter combines with the selected folder and with the status, owner, and search filters above the list. Use Search tags... to find a tag in a long list.

Card and list views

Use the view toggle at the top right to switch between:

  • Cards — each card shows the agent's status (Active or Draft), description, tags, trigger, last-updated date, and last run.
  • List — a table with Name, Status, Folder, Tags, Owner, Last run, and Updated columns, plus a Chat button on each row. Click a row to open the agent's detail drawer.

Last run reflects the agent's most recent production run — test runs from the builder don't count. It reads Succeeded, Failed, or Running with how long ago (for example Succeeded 3 days ago), or Waiting for approval. An agent that has never run shows Never run, or No trigger if it also has no trigger configured.

Bulk actions

Select agents with the checkboxes on cards or list rows to open the bulk action bar:

  • Add tag — type a tag name and press Enter to add it to every selected agent.
  • Move to… — pick a folder, or Unfiled, to move every selected agent there.
  • Select all visible / Clear — selection is limited to the agents currently shown by your folder, tag, and other filters.

If some agents can't be updated, a toast reports how many succeeded and failed, the selection narrows to the ones that failed, and a Retry button applies the same action to just those.

Organizing Unfiled agents

When any agents aren't in a folder, a banner above the list reports how many (for example "5 agents aren't in a folder yet."). Click Organize now to switch to list view filtered to Unfiled, with other filters cleared, so you can select agents and Move to… a folder in one pass. Dismiss the banner with ×. The dismissal is remembered in your browser for that workspace, and the banner returns if more agents become unfiled later.
